
Membership Types
Active Membership: all licensed
pharmacists. Eligible to vote, hold elective office, nominate
officers and make or second motions.
Associate Membership: any individual not
eligible for active membership but who has a beneficial or
substantial economic or professional interest in pharmacy.
This includes Pharmacy Technicians, Manufacturers, Sales
Representatives, etc. Associate members shall have all the
privileges of active membership except the right to vote,
hold elective office, nominate officers or make or second
motions.
Retiree Membership: Pharmacists who (1)
have attained the age of 65 and are either retired or
actively engaged in pharmaceutical practice and who (2) have
accrued five successive years of active membership in the
Society shall be eligible for senior active membership at a
reduction of no more than $100 of the annual dues for active membership.
Eligible to all the privileges of active membership
including the right to vote, hold elective office, nominate
officers and make or second motions.
RPh Graduate Pledge Program: For
pharmacists who have graduated from pharmacy college who
have become licensed will pay as everyone else.
Interns or pharmacy students will either pay nothing or pay a graduated dues amount
Automatic Membership: All LIPS members will
also become PSSNY members in their respective membership
types and vice versa. |
